Why do you use pre-paid deposits to secure bookings instead of a standard reservations system?

Heron & Grey is a small restaurant, and we want to create an intimate environment for our guests. Pre-paid bookings allow us to guarantee that all our seats will be filled every night at all times, which is essential to the maintenance of a business who takes care of just 66 clients per week.

What does my ticket include?

When you pre-pay a deposit for a reservation to Heron & Grey it it does not include supplemental food, alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic beverages, coffee or tea. However your deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your final bill.

Booking system logout times:

Please be aware that you will have 7 minutes to complete the transaction once tickets are selected. If you exceed the allotted time you will be signed out and the tickets will be released back into our system for other guests to purchase.

Can I give my booking away or sell it?

Yes. The booking is completely transferable. Please note, however, that selling tickets for greater than face value may be illegal in your area. Anyone who purchases a ticket from another patron should take care to ensure that they have a received a formal transfer of the ticket through the restaurant's official website. Any tickets purchased on the secondary market are at the purchaser's risk. How do I transfer my booking?

To transfer a ticket, log in to your account, go to the "My Account" area using the upper right navigation pane and select "Your Bookings". Each ticket has a transfer button next to it. -- https://profile.tocktix.com/#/login?continue=account.tickets

Does Tock work on all web browsers?

Tock is designed to work on all modern browsers. Chrome, Safari, and Firefox are recommended. Old versions of IE, for example, are not supported.

Is my booking time important?

Our dinner service typically resides over a 3 hour period. Due to the constraints in the size of our little kitchen & the nature of the food we prepare, we kindly ask if you could be on time for your reservation so as no one guest is left waiting to dine with us, as all our guests are served food collectively here at Heron & Grey. Food service will commence 15 minutes after your stated booking time regardless of whether or not all guests are present

Is my diet really that important? (e.g. Coeliac)

Yes. As we only serve a set menu option at Heron & Grey, we are very concerned to anyone with dietary restrictions, e.g. vegetarian, or any allergies such as shellfish. We will not be able to cater for Lactose Intolerant or Vegan diets yet will always try our very best to accommodate any & all other requests.

Cancellations Policy // Return Tickets?

All tickets can be transferred or gifted to anyone you wish through the TOCK system. Should you wish to cancel your booking we ask for the following minimum notice period to refund all deposits paid: Tables of 2: 24 Hours Tables of 4: 48 Hours Tables of 6: 72 Hours
